Jaguar recently revealed its XE SV Project 8, which impressively lapped the Nurburgring in 7 minutes 21,2 seconds, making it the fastest production sedan to complete the gruelling track. The SV, however, is limited to just 300 units so if you haven’t already ordered one but still fancy an XE that at least looks the part, German tuning company Arden has the answer.
Based on a 3,0-litre V6 XE S, the AJ 24 RS raises the standard car’s 280 kW to 340 kW (and torque from 450 N.m to 583 N.m) thanks to a sports exhaust, a new engine management system and a reworked serial compressor.
The Arden AJ 24 RS adopts a touring car inspired body kit, including a set of 20-inch forged alloy wheels with an adjustable thread chassis. Arden promises that its creation has improved aerodynamics and downforce thanks to various newly designed panels.
Inside, you’ll find a fairly standard interior with added aluminium trim bits, pedals and footrests, as well as bespoke leather upholstery.
