Usually, Brabus is all about power and speed, but with this particular version of the Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4² has extreme off-roading in its sights, too.
The aptly named Brabus 550 Adventure 4×4² comes fitted with all sorts of off-roading gear and, of course, something of a performance upgrade.
To give the 550 Adventure 4×4² an even bigger presence it has been fitted with a front bumper guard, underride guard and winch, along with headlamp-protecting mesh and a carbon-fibre bonnet scoop.
The roof also gains a carbon-fibre mount with integrated LED searchlights and a set of steel roof-racks.
Brabus has also adjusted the air suspension to allow the 550 Adventure 4×4² to take on even more extreme off-roading obstacles. A set of hefty off-roading tyres further assists in this regard.
In its standard guise, the 550 Adventure 4×4² churns out 310 kW from its twin-turbo 4,0-litre V8, but when fitted with the custom Brabus PowerXtra auxiliary control unit it delivers 404 kW and 800 N.m, which translates to a 0-100 km/h time of 6,7 seconds and a limited top speed of 210 km/h.
