Brabus is at it again, and this time it has placed its mad-scientist hands on the already brutal Mercedes-AMG C63 S Cabriolet. This extensive upgrade consists of a conclusive visual upgrade and a drastic increase in power.
Powering the 650 Cabriolet is the twin-turbo AMG 4,0-litre V8 which has been boosted to 478 kW and 820 N.m of torque by means of installing custom turbochargers and manipulating the vehicle’s ECU. A custom exhaust job is also used to give it more personality.
As a result of this, the 650 Cabriolet can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3,7 seconds and reach a top speed of 320 km/h which we are sure would be a terrifying experience in an open-top car.
Combined fuel consumption on the modified AMG is a claimed 9,3 L/100 km but we all know that might be a bit of an exaggeration.
The aerodynamics used to keep this car to the ground were developed in a wind tunnel and are available for the coupe as well. They are composed from carbon fibre and include a front splitter, side air intakes, rear diffuser and boot spoiler among other details.
The athletic appearance is completed by the custom Monoblock R 20-inch alloy wheels connected to the revised Ride Control sports suspension which can adjust the ride height from 40 mm to 20 mm at will.
Interior adjustments include a complete leather re-upholstery, new gauges to compensate for the extra speed, custom Brabus paddle shifters and azure blue accenting.
