Speaking to every manufacturer on the South African car market, and taking a glimpse into our own crystal ball, we bring you the cars you can look forward to coming to SA in 2026. We highlight the Aston Martin models heading our way.

With our time behind the wheel of Aston Martin’s modern Vantage, which we’ve evaluated for a road test, and DB12 still fresh, the British marque recently announced the DB12 S packages. Billed as the most potent model in the automaker’s DB bloodline, the DB12 S, available in coupé and Volante (convertible) body styles, was unveiled in October 2025. Aston Martin’s local arm has now confirmed to CAR Magazine that the pinnacle DB12 will arrive on our shores in 2026.
As a reminder, while the standard DB12’s 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 churns out 494 kW, the S-badged models produce an even lustier 515 kW. Torque remains untouched, with the full complement of 800 N.m delivered to the rear axle via an eight-speed automatic transmission in a broad 3 000 to 6 000 r/min swathe of the rev band. Also touted is a new Vantage Roadster, a drop-top version of the Vantage with a lightweight Z-fold roof that can be operated in 7.0 seconds.
