The SUV that marked the rebirth for the Chinese manufacturer has undergone some minor tweaks to continue forging forward for Chery. Here is pricing and specification of the full range of the MY2022 Tiggo 4 Pro.
In less than a year, Chery has re-entered the South African market and managed to win buyers over with their ever-growing range of SUVs. The one that started it all, the Tiggo 4 Pro was not short of features to begin with but Tony Liu, Executive Deputy General Manager, Chery South Africa stated that the brand has listened to what customers want and has now added three new models to the lineup.
This includes the new Tiggo 4 Pro Urban, a new Tiggo 4 Comfort and a top-specified Tiggo 4 Elite SE which all boast an impressive list of equipment. All models in the range now include six airbags as standard, as well as remote locking that will close any open windows, voice command, a digital tyre pressure monitoring system, a high-definition 10,25-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto and Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity. Buyers of the Tiggo 4 Pro in 2022 will also receive electric windows all-round, air conditioning (climate control on the turbo-powered models) and LED daytime running lights throughout the range as standard.
Tiggo 4 Pro Urban
The Urban derivative serves as the entry-level model in Chery’s conclusive portfolio and has become one of the best-selling models in the range. The model will replace its cloth interior with vegan leather with the upholstery fitted to the seats, steering wheel and door inlays while contrasting trim can be found on the armest and rear headrest.
The driver’s seat now receives a six-way manual adjustment system which can also be found on the Comfort level of trim.
Chery Tiggo 4 Comfort
The Comfort derivative builds on the equipment of the aforementioned Tiggo 4 Pro Urban model but will be available with a CVT as opposed the 5-speed manual transmission.
Tiggo 4 Pro Elite SE
The Elite SE will serve as the flagship of the Chery range and features a raft of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) which include a radar-guidance system. This means the top-specification offering boasts safety tech such as Adaptive Cruise Control, a Pre-Collision Warning system Lane-keep and Lane Departure Warning systems.
In addition to this, Chery has installed a complete 360-degree around-view monitor system for ease of manoeuvrability in tight spaces.
The new Chery Tiggo 4 Pro models are available across the entire Chery network which now includes 60 dealers.
