Ford-accredited conversion partners MS-RT and Wellhouse Leisure have transformed a Transit Custom into a sportily styled campervan for a long-time Blue Oval enthusiast.
Based on a long-wheelbase Transit Custom, the vehicle was fitted with a bold body kit, graphics pack, anthracite 18-inch alloy wheels and a dual exhaust system, thanks to the folks over at MS-RT.
The firm also added white leather upholstery with blue contrast stitching inside. Wellhouse Leisure, meanwhile, fitted the Transit Custom with a full kitchen, luxury seats and an extendable roof that holds an attic bedroom. Other features include xenon headlamps, satellite navigation, adaptive cruise control and Starlit Alcantara roof and dashboard lining.
Under the bonnet sits Ford’s 2,0-litre turbodiesel engine, pushing 125 kW to the wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission.
The cost for this one-off conversion? Some £77 000 (that's about R1,35-million). The owner hopes to use his new Transit campervan to explore Ford and motorbike shows around the UK...
