Foton South Africa has added a new special edition model to its Tunland range, branding the resulting bakkie the “Granite”.
The special edition model is based on the Tunland 4×2 double-cab, in so-called “Luxury” specification, but gains a number of additional styling accessories.
The Granite derivative, which can be had in either white or silver, is priced at R329 995, a premium of R10 000 over the model on which it is based.
So, what do you gain for the extra cash? Well, the Granite features 16-inch “Hazzard” alloy wheels, wrapped in Cooper all-terrain tyres, as well as a black roll-over bar, black nudge bar and a handful of other exterior black finishes.
“Granite” decals adorn the Chinese bakkie’s front doors and tailgate, while the moniker is also stitched onto the covers of the front head restraints. This model furthermore features leather upholstery and Bluetooth functionality.
The Tunland Granite is powered by a 2,8-litre turbodiesel mill, which develops 120 kW and 360 N.m. Foton claims a combined cycle figure of 8,3 L/100 km.
