Three versions of Jaguar’s new F-Pace Chequered Flag special edition have arrived in South Africa, with the local arm of the British firm releasing pricing.

All three employ four-cylinder units (each sending drive to all four corners), with the 2,0-litre petrol engine offering 184 kW and 365 N.m for a sprint to 100 km/h in a claimed 7,0 seconds and a top speed of 217 km/h. Badged as the F-Pace 25t AWD Chequered Flag, this variant is priced at R1 100 925.

The other two variants use 2,0-litre turbodiesel engines, churning out 132 kW/430 N.m in the case of the F-Pace 20d AWD Chequered Flag and 177 kW/500 N.m in the case of the F-Pace 25d AWD Chequered Flag. Pricing here is R1 004 604 and R1 091 675, respectively.

As a reminder, the Chequered Flag special edition is based on the R-Sport model and gains a more aggressively styled front bumper and gloss-black detailing on the grille, door cladding, side vents and roof rails. It is offered exclusively in Yulong White, Santorini Black and Eiger Grey.

Inside, you’ll find leather trim, mesh-aluminium detailing and “Chequered Flag” treadplates. Other standard features include ten-way electrically adjustable front seats, the Touch Pro Navigation pack, a Meridian sound system, the 12,3-inch driver display and the Touch Pro infotainment system.

Jaguar SA also recently released pricing for two new 300 Sport versions of its F-Pace.
