Last month, we showed you a sketch of a new sub-compact SUV from Honda called the WR-V. And now the Japanese automaker has revealed the real thing at the Sao Paulo International Motor Show.
Honda claims the new WR-V “features outstanding fuel economy and stable handling performance”.
At this point, Honda says it is planning to sell the WR-V – which stands for “Winsome Runabout Vehicle” – in South America only, with a market introduction in Brazil scheduled for the first half of 2017. However, earlier reports claimed that the new vehicle would also make its way to India next year.
The Jazz-based SUV is set to take on the likes of the Renault Duster and Ford EcoSport, although Honda has yet to release any technical specifications (nor even an interior shot).
