The updated Hyundai Creta has been officially unveiled by the South Korean manufacturer’s Indonesian arm. Bringing it up to standard with other offerings from the rest of the brand is a bold new front design and key standard safety features.
At the front of the Hyundai Creta, the head-turning grille with the Parametric Jewel Hidden-Type DRLs has been applied. This is accentuated by a pair of foglamps and a conclusive silver trim anti-scuff plating.
These characteristics are also found on the high mounted brake lamps on the rear side, thus completing the combination that aims to give the impression of a high-tech vehicle. The sporty look of the car is also complemented by the 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels.
Within the cabin of the updated Hyundai Creta, a cooled glove box, ambient mood lighting, panoramic sunroof and ventilated seat is now available to opt for. For a more conclusive technological experience, the cabin also sports a 10,25-inch digital instrument cluster, 8,0-inch touchscreen infotainment system and eight-speaker Bose Premium sound system.
The Bluelink smartphone app has also been made available to the Hyundai Creta which acts as a connected car service. This system can provide a stolen vehicle notification and stolen vehicle tracking functionality as well as stolen vehicle immobilization. Additionally, auto collision notification and emergency and roadside assistance can be provided.
Power for the Hyundai Creta facelift remains the naturally aspirated 1,5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that delivers 85 kW and 144 N.m of torque to the front wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox or the brands Intelligent Variable Transmission.
Key safety features available for the package have been included as well. This consists of hill start assist control, emergency stop signal, vehicle stability management, forward collision avoidance assist, lane keeping and lane following assist, blind-spot collision avoidance assist and rear cross traffic collision avoidance assist.
