Earlier this week, the Jaguar F-Pace R-Dynamic Black pack was revealed as a new flagship trim for the British manufacturer’s SUV. This offering has now been confirmed for South Africa and can be applied to three different engine options.
With the Jaguar F-Pace R-Dynamic Black pack, an array of gloss black finishes have been applied to the door mirror covers as well as the grille, grille surround, side window surrounds, fender vents, rear valance and the rear badges. This is complemented by a set of 20-inch Style 1067 design alloy wheels finished in the same shade and contrasted by red brake callipers.
Further adding presence is a set of gloss black roof rails and a fixed panoramic roof. Exterior colour options consist of seven metallic finishes, including a new Ostuni White, and two premium metallic paints.
Inclusions to the cabin are a set of contemporary Satin Charcoal Ash veneers and bright metal pedals together with the enhanced Premium Cabin Lighting feature that offers the driver a choice of 30 colours in place of the previous 10.
The Jaguar F-Pace R-Dynamic Black pack starts off with the D200 at a price of R1 182 396. This employs a turbodiesel 2,0-litre four-cylinder unit that delivers 147 kW and 430 N.m of torque. The D300, with an asking price of R1 299 244, offers consumers a punchier oil-burning experience thanks to a turbodiesel 3,0-litre straight-six mill that offers 221 kW and 700 N.m.
Petrol enthusiasts can opt for the Jaguar F-Pace R-Dynamic Black in P250 guise for R1 278 850. This uses the firm’s turbocharged 2,0-litre four-cylinder mill with a power output of 184 kW and 365 N.m. All three models boast an all-wheel drive system with an eight-speed torque converter.
All three models come standard with Jaguar’s five-year/100 000 km maintenance plan and warranty.
