In July, Jeep revealed a special 392 Concept for the Wrangler Rubicon in an attempt to gauge the market to see if there was a demand for such a configuration. Four months later, the American SUV brand has confirmed that it will indeed be available as a production model.

Two posts on the brand’s official Instagram display a video of the 6,4-litre V8 within the Wrangler's engine bay being aired out in a desert. The caption states that the model shown is pre-production with a complete product being available as of 2021.

While the concept boasts a power output of 336 kW and 610 N.m of torque, it’s not yet clear how much the production model will produce. What it is likely to carry over is the improved eight-speed transmission, upgraded engine mounts and a stronger frame.

Considering these two videos are teasers, with an official launch likely to be due sometime tomorrow evening, not much can be said about the any visual enhancements.
