Having said “cheers” to the 209 kW/347 N.m 3.6-litre atmospheric V6, the refreshed local Jeep Wrangler line-up now boasts a “robust” 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol mill equipped with forced induction. Indeed, the updated Wrangler derivatives — Sport, Sahara, and Rubicon — are all turbocharged.
The 2.0-litre unit produces 200 kW and 400 N.m, 9 kW less and 53 N.m more than the Pentastar motor employed by the pre-facelifted variants. Peak power and torque are available from 5 250 r/min 3 000 r/min, respectively. The newly introduced powertrain drives the fore and aft axles via an eight-speed automatic cog swapper.
