Only a company as gonzo as Lamborghini would think that the Aventador was a little too shy and underpowered. So they did what any self-respecting supercar maker would do, they made a super-fast version; introducing the Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce.
As you can see from the pics, the already jaw-dropping Aventador shape has been made even more striking by the adoption of an aggressive aero kit that includes contrasting coloured side sills, front splitter, rear wing and a very large diffuser. All of this helps to generate, according to Lamborghini, 170% more downforce than a regular Aventador.
The cabin has also been revised with the adoption of lightweight seats and carbon-fibre door trim. To curb weight, the infotainment, carpets and excess noise insulation material have all been deleted. Along with other carbon-fibre bits and pieces, the Aventador SV weighs 50 kg less than a regular Aventador.
Naming tradition by the Italian firm dictates the power rating in horsepower, roughly 563 kW, which is an even 50 bhp over the LP700-4 variant. This equates to a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 2,8 seconds and a top speed in excess of 350 km/h.
Along with the enhanced aero treatment, there are also adaptive magnetic dampers, large format composite brakes, and a variable ratio steering rack to help extract quicker lap times from the SV.
