Expanding the Lamborghini Huracan range even further is this EVO RWD which bases itself off the all-wheel drive model revealed last July. This rear-driven derivative sports some redesigned lines, a lower mass and a detuned power output.
At first glance it’s quite easy to notice that the designed has been somewhat toned down to make it appear less aggressive. The front bumper does away with the aggressive front splitter and adopts the snake fang-inspired look which debuted on the Aventador S. The rear sports a similar diffuser system but with fewer slats and outlets.
Fitted to the middle is the brand’s naturally aspirated 5,2-litre V10 which has been cranked down to 449 kW and 560 N.m of torque from the coupe’s 470 kW and 600 N.m power output. The rear axle has been fitted with a specially calibrated performance traction control system which allows it to improve corner-exit traction by 20% and enhances oversteer by 30% over the previous rear-wheel drive Huracan.
Despite there being less power under the bonnet, the EVO RWD is also 33 kg lighter than the all-wheel drive model as it weighs in at 1 389 kg. This gives it a 0-100 km/h time of 3,3 seconds (0-200 km/h can be completed in 9,3 seconds) and a top speed of 325 km/h. This makes it 0,4 seconds slower than its AWD counterpart.
