Do these somewhat blurry images depict the facelifted Volkswagen Golf 7? Well, if the accompanying report from AutoBlog.nl is accurate, they do indeed.
The Dutch website has published the apparently leaked images, which purportedly show facelifted version of the standard Golf hatchback as well as the refreshed GTI variant.
The visual changes that come with this mid-cycle update are rather subtle. Most noticeable, though, are the new headlights, which will apparently be optionally available in full LED form.
The front and rear bumpers, meanwhile, have also been slightly tweaked, while the standard facelifted Golf appears to employ trapezoidal exhaust exits. New alloy wheel designs, of course, are also part of the update.
According to various reports, the facelifted Golf 7 will be revealed before the end of 2016. Expect new 1,5-litre petrol and diesel mills to eventually become available, too.
