Mahindra South Africa has added a new KUV100 Nxt K6+ #Dare derivative to its local range, pricing the newcomer at R195 999.
Interestingly, the price of the model on which it is based, the K6+ petrol, has been reduced to R184 999 (down from R191 999).
The latest addition joins the K2+ #Dare variant that launched in November 2019, and like its sibling is converted at a new special fitment centre in Gauteng. The local arm of the Indian firm says it has decided to make the #Dare models permanent members of the KUV100 Nxt range.
The K6+ #Dare slots between the standard K6+ and K8 models, and is set apart by a black roof, black 15-inch alloys and #Dare decals applied to its flanks and tailgate. Inside, you’ll find branded carpets and a reversing camera.
Power comes from the firm’s naturally aspirated 1,2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine, which offers the front axle some 61 kW and 115 N.m via a five-speed manual gearbox.
Mahindra SA says free insurance for a year is included in the price.
