The custom German tuning firm has put together yet another limited edition package for the Mercedes-AMG G63 which it has dubbed, the Mansory Viva Edition. Limited to just 10 units, the special package adds more power and a head-turning interior and exterior redesign to the iconic performance SUV.
Giving the Mansory Viva Edition its visual presence is a conclusive aerodynamic body kit that consists of a new front and rear apron and widened front wings and doors. All components are made of full carbon with the specifics of the design penned according to customer requirements. Sitting above the engine is an ultra-light and unpainted carbon fibre bonnet with cooling air intakes at the front and sides.
Additional lighting is provided by double DRLs positioned at both sides of the apron and two light-intensive headlamps mounted on the edge of the roof and trimmed to a carbon fibre bar. At the rear, the spare wheel cover has also been given a carbon treatment alongside the indicator bases, door handle inserts, mirror housings and air outlets. The aggression of the Mansory Viva Edition is further accentuated by a set of 24-inch YN.5 forged alloy wheels painted in black.
Using new downpipes on the left and right with a high-performance exhaust system and a new engine management system, the Mansory Viva Edition ups the power of the twin-turbocharged 4,0-litre V8 from 430 kW and 850 N.m of torque to 530 kW and 1 000 N.m.
As with the exterior, the Mansory Viva Edition graces its inhabitants with a rather bold interior design. The entire cabin has been reupholstered in fine leather while a new leather-carbon sports steering wheel, aluminium pedal set, carbon inlays and leather inserts with 3D embossing in the seats are included to emphasise its sportiness. The interior and carpets are coloured to the customer’s requirements.
Keen-eyed observers will notice that this Mansory Viva Edition looks strikingly similar to the Gronos package that was revealed earlier this year.
