Name a more iconic duo; a rally-inspired Lancia with a Martini Racing livery. Very few combinations can evoke such nostalgia but Automobili Amos is doing just this with their Futurista recreation ahead of their next project: the Delta Safarista.
Rally enthusiasts are sure to know about Automobili Amos. The Italian-based vehicle tuner and restorer first displayed their Lancia Delta project, titled Futurista a few years ago which takes an existing Delta HF Integrale and modernises it with tasteful upgrades. The handcrafted production run was limited to only 20 units and the final one is now here.

The boxy bodywork of the Italian icon wears a hue of white paintwork, with the memorable blue and red livery subtly lining the flanks of the car. Move further back and the link becomes obvious: the rear spoiler bears the inscription of “Martini Legacy” which is ever fitting for the revitalised model.
The Martini model retains the same lightweight bumper, bonnet, front and rear fascia moulded from carbon fibre which helps the machine achieve its modest weight of 1 250 kg. The re-tuned turbocharged motor puts out 243 kW with power being directed to each corner.
With the final of the Delta Futurista’s to be produced, Automobili Amos has now endeavoured to commence their new project which still employs the illustrious rally icon. This time around, the model will be geared for the form of motorsport which thrust it into popularity; rallying.
Aptly called the Lancia Delta Safarista, the hardcore model shares a symbolic link to the hatchback which won the 1988 Rally Safari. This iteration of the icon will only arrive in 10 units with a whopping conversion price of €570 000 which excludes the rare Lancia Delta HF Integrale 16 V donor car.
From the renderings, the model is quickly distinguished by its higher stance, two-tone bodywork and bare-bones interior that has metal scaffolding protecting the occupants in the unfortunate event of a rollover.
