Maserati is set to make a significant mark at Monterey Car Week 2024, celebrating 110 years of automotive excellence. This milestone event will feature the unveiling of a new super sports car based on the MC20, alongside the North American debut of the MC20 Icona.

Central to Maserati’s presence at Monterey Car Week is the House of Maserati. This elegant venue will welcome guests with a taste of Italian luxury and hospitality. Here, the MC20 Tributo Modenese, a unique creation honouring Modena’s legacy, will make its debut. The venue will also host the North American launch of Maserati’s Classiche department, featuring the iconic MC12 Special Edition. Visitors can explore the latest models, including the all-electric GranTurismo Folgore, GranCabrio Folgore, and Grecale Folgore, as well as the GranCabrio Trofeo and MC20 Cielo. Exclusive test drives will offer a firsthand experience of Maserati’s cutting-edge performance and design.
The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, will be a key highlight, where Maserati will reveal its new MC20-derived super sports car. This unveiling, led by Maserati’s top executives, promises to capture the brand’s essence of performance and Italian craftsmanship. The limited-edition MC20 Icona Special Series will also be on display, showcasing its unique design inspired by the MC12 Stradale. The MC20 Icona, limited to just 20 units globally, features a special livery in Bianco Audace Matte and Blu Stradale, with unique customization details such as the Maserati Fuoriserie logo and the Italian flag emblem.

Adding to the excitement, the track-only MCXtrema will make its North American debut at Laguna Seca. This powerful model, first introduced in 2023, represents the pinnacle of Maserati’s engineering and speed. The first customer delivery will take place here, with Maserati Chief Test Driver Andrea Bertolini providing a detailed briefing and track session. The MCXtrema boasts a V6 3.0-litre twin-turbo engine, showcasing Maserati’s commitment to pushing performance boundaries.
Monterey Car Week will culminate with Maserati’s presence at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The newly revealed super sports car will be displayed on the Concept Lawn, highlighting its advanced design and performance. Additionally, Maserati’s 110-year legacy will be celebrated, with the brand’s Head of Design, Klaus Busse, serving as an Honorary Judge for the event.
