Ever wanted a Mercedes-Benz G-Class with a Maybach flavour (other than the G650 Landaulet)? Well, TopCar Design has created exactly that, giving the Mercedes-AMG G63 a proper makeover.
The tuner has given the G63 a two-tone paint job (as offered on current Mercedes-Maybach models), combining silver and royal blue.
While the front end doesn't drastically depart from AMG’s conventional styling, it is a little more aggressive thanks to tweaked lines and plenty of carbon-fibre. The bumper consists of 11 visible elements and many other components hidden from the eye. There's a front bumper with three air intakes, a lower lip splitter, a central A-shaped spoiler, cover plates on the right and left, and a pair of LED daytime running lights. TopCar Design has also added an LED panel at the leading edge of the roof.
The front furthermore gains a carbon-fibre bonnet and headlamp protection covers. The bonnet consists of upper and lower halves, a heat shield, two air intakes and a decorative insert. It's fashioned from a combination of carbon-fibre and Kevlar, while the inside is finished with carbon-Kevlar composite in a military-style weave.
Changes to the side and rear aren't quite as dramatic, with the main updates being the addition of carbon-fibre wheel arches and extra trim for the profile and rear bumper. The custom spare wheel cover, too, makes use of the lightweight material and gains a shark logo. The most prominent addition at the rear, though, is a roof spoiler finished in carbon-fibre.
The exterior upgrade is rounded off with a set of Classic Style forged alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, ivory leather with silver carbon inserts along the dashboard and door cards are used to complement the exterior design.
