While production-run Mazdas are usually rather reserved, the aftermarket builds tend to be rather dynamic. One such example is this Mazda3 2,0 SkyActiv G which has been fitted with a Knight Sports body kit along some other notable performance upgrades at the hands of Progressive SR.
Giving the Mazda3 2,0 SkyActiv G its dynamic visuals is a Knight Sports front bumper with custom carbon honeycomb lips, extended grille blades, custom cut-out functional air vents and a set of carbon canards. The front visuals are completed with an Odula carbon-painted bonnet. At the profile, a pair of custom design MZ Vision Version 3 skirts is applied while the rear boasts a custom bumper molded from the Aspec PPV400 Golf R.
Enhancing its visual stance is a set of Eibach Pro sports springs but the tuning house aims to replace this with a set of Blitz ZZR coilovers fairly soon.
Under the bonnet of the Mazda3 2,0 SkyActiv G sits naturally aspirated 2,0-litre four-cylinder engine delivering 90 kW and 213 N.m of torque to the fronts in standard guise. Using a BMC filter, stage two tuning and an Armytrix valvetronic exhaust system with blue flame tips, Progressive SR is able to increase this output to 146 kW and 267 N.m of torque.
Although not pictured, the cabin has been kitted out with a set of sports pedals, ambient lighting and a red sports carbon gearknob. Soon to be fitted is a red carbon steering wheel.
