Bentley has revealed the Flying Spur V8 S Black Edition, which (as you might have guessed) features all manner of black trim, as well as a little extra oomph from its eight-cylinder heart.
Glance at the accompanying images and you’ll notice plenty of black trim scattered about the exterior. The head- and tail-lamps bear a distinctive dark tint and black bezels, while the radiator and window surrounds, headlight washer caps and door-handle inserts are all styled in a gloss black finish.
The 21-inch seven-spoke alloys are (surprise, surprise) finished in gloss black, while buyers will have the choice of black- or red-painted brake calipers. Inside, a three-spoke Sport Plus steering wheel plus piano black veneer come standard.
The British automaker has turned up the wick on the 4,0-litre V8 under the bonnet, which now delivers 388 kW and 680 N.m to all four wheels and propels the Flying Spur from standstill to 100 km/h in a claimed 4,9 seconds. Top speed comes in at 306 km/h.
If you tick the “Mulliner Driving Specification” box, your Flying Spur V8 S Black Edition will gain diamond-quilted hide (with contrast stitching) for the seat and door panels, as well as the choice of two 21-inch five-spoke “Directional Sports” wheel finishes in gloss black or dark tint.
