We’ve already brought you pictures of the Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe test mules. But for the first time we see the car in full flight. Caught on camera at the Nurburgring recently, AMG test drivers are seen giving the two-door model a good work out ahead of the car’s launch in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
We already know that this car will be powered by the same twin-turbocharged 4,0-litre V8 motor of the saloon model (which you can see in a drag race against a BMW M3 here). This means that it will have 350 kW on tap in the regular version and 375 in S guise. Power will be delivered to the LSD-equipped rear axle via the firm’s seven-speed MCT. We hope that AMG engineers have also helped the Coupe to lose some mass.
