The folks over at Wheelsandmore have handed the Mercedes-AMG GLS63 a whole lot of extra power and a fresh set of wheels.

The German tuner has upgraded the Affalterbach-based firm's twin-turbo 4,0-litre V8, increasing the standard outputs of 450 kW and 850 N.m. of torque to a whopping 667 kW and 1 150 N.m. The firm achieved this by adding a pair of modified turbochargers, high-performance fuel pumps and custom engine software.

For those who are content with lower outputs, Wheelsandmore offers three less extreme stages. A stainless-steel exhaust system is also available.

Visual changes to the large luxury SUV are limited to a set of centre-locking 24-inch G-Logic forged alloy wheels. These are wrapped in 295/35 front and 335/30 rear tyres.

Wheelsandmore hasn’t released any claimed performance figures, but it does state that the stage two kit allows the hefty SUV to "theoretically" pass the 320 km/h mark, depending on the tyres.
