One notable update lies in the Mercedes-Benz GLS’s bold radiator grille, now adorned with galvanised louvres in high-quality Silver Shadow and a more pronounced bumper featuring integrated air inlet grilles. Additionally, the rear lights sport a redesigned layout with three horizontal blocks for heightened visual impact. Inside the GLS, standard seating for seven is complemented by a refreshed range of interior trim finishes, including the previously exclusive glossy black piano lacquer trim found in the Maybach variant.
The updated MBUX infotainment system introduces a fresh display layout, offering customizable styles and modes to cater to individual preferences. For enthusiasts of off-road adventures, Mercedes-Benz has revamped the Off-Road Engineering package, now equipped with an underride guard and 30 millimetres of additional ground clearance. The Off-Road Mode enhances visibility with a virtual view under the front of the vehicle, courtesy of the standard Parking Package featuring a 360-degree camera and “transparent bonnet” function.

Conversely, the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC epitomizes luxury and sophistication. Its distinguished features include vertical chrome bars and “Maybach” lettering on the radiator grille, along with a Maybach pattern on the air inlet grilles. Inside, ambient lighting with animated projection of the Mercedes-Maybach pattern sets the tone for a truly immersive experience. Additionally, new seat covers featuring high-quality diamond-pattern quilting elevate the luxurious ambience.
Both the GLS and Maybach GLS offer new paint finishes and the latest steering wheel generation with touch controls on the spokes. Moreover, the voice assistant can now be activated without the keyword “Hey Mercedes,” adding convenience for drivers. Rear-seat occupants can indulge in the optional MBUX Multi-Seat Entertainment system, granting access to a comprehensive range of infotainment and comfort features, including up to three touchscreens and intuitive control options.

The Mercedes-Benz GLS 580 4MATIC delivers an impressive 380 kW and 730 N.m of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h. The GLS 450 d 4MATIC boasts 270 kW and 750 N.m of torque, achieving a 0-100 km/h time of 6.1 seconds, also with a top speed of 250 km/h. Not to be outdone, the flagship Mercedes-Maybach GLS impresses with its 410 kW and 770 N.m of torque, achieving a 0-100 km/h time of 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h.
