The Mercedes-Maybach Edition 100 S-Class and GLS have been unveiled to celebrate the luxury brand’s centennial. Both models will be limited to 100 units each and will be available to order from the fourth quarter of this year.
The Mercedes-Maybach Edition 100 S-Class and GLS will be available in 680 and 600 trim respectively. This means the sedan will be powered by the brand’s twin-turbocharged 6,0-litre V12 while the SUV the twin-turbocharged 4,0-litre V8.
Unique trims on both of these models consist of a high-tech silver and nautical blue two-tone hand-painted body contrasted by a special design of leather interior in Designo crystal white and silver grey pearl.
Edition 100 logos have been applied to the C-pillar of the S-Class and D-pillar of the GLS to distinguish their exclusivity as well as various stowage compartments and the illuminated panels in the interior. The lettering is also applied to the hub caps of the forged wheels on the GLS and alloy wheels of the S-Class, contrasted by a new grey finish.
Keeping your Mercedes-Maybach Edition 100 S-Class and GLS pristine is a special car cover with the Maybach logo. A fine handmade case made of soft crystal white or black leather in file size, made to store keys and papers, further underline the exclusivity of the edition.
With the launch of this model, the arm is also introducing a diamond-studded fountain pen from the Maybach the Peak collection. This has been made by the silver and yacht manufacturer Robbe & Berking, who offers a champagne flute with a specially created engraving.
The Mercedes-Maybach Edition 100 S-Class and GLS will be available at dealers in the first markets from the beginning of 2022, with other markets following in the course of the year. Orders for the limited special series will be accepted from the fourth quarter of 2021.
