The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Tourer has been given a subtle sporty makeover at the hands of custom commercial vehicle specialists Vansports. The aftermarket catalogue includes styling enhancements to the interior and exterior of the short-wheelbase van.
Finished in tenorite gray, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Tourer has been decked out with the firm’s SP Stream kit which includes a front spoiler lip, rocker panels and a rear apron. Vansports notes that its technicians had to adapt the latter two elements prior to painting and installation because the compact Sprinter is relatively rare and these parts were usually only available for models with a wheelbase of 3 665 mm or more.
Despite this, the short Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Tourer, which left the production line in luxury-guise with rear-wheel drive and full air suspension, is supplemented perfectly by the SP Stream aerodynamic kit. Accentuating its sporty look is a set of VEST1 light alloy wheels also developed in-house by Vansports. These filigree double-spoke 20-inch wheels have a glossy black finish and are mated to a set of Continental Sport Contact tyres measuring in at 255/45 R20.
For added convenience, Vansports has also installed a lifting device in the rear of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Tourer. In this case, the additional system allows electric wheelchair users to board the vehicle with ease, but a wide range of other users are also possible based on your specific requirements.
