Mercedes-Benz has released two fresh teaser videos, the first previewing the soon-to-be-revealed Mercedes-AMG A45 S and the second giving us a glimpse of the upcoming CLA45 S.
The clips, which the German firm’s performance arm posted to its various social media accounts, suggest both models will boast the requisite Mercedes-AMG exterior cues, including the brand’s now-signature Panamericana grille, quad-tailpipes and red brake callipers.
Of course, we already know these flagship S-badged models will employ Affalterbach’s new turbocharged 2,0-litre, four-cylinder petrol (M139) engine, sending 310 kW and 500 N.m to all four corners. The standard (non-S, that is) models, meanwhile, will offer a still impressive 285 kW and 480 N.m.
The German firm furthermore confirmed the A45 S would be fully revealed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on 4 July 2019, while the CLA45 S was listed only as “coming soon”.
