Manhart has previewed its upcoming tuning options for the new BMW M3 Competition and M4 Competition, with peak power set to be pushed to 456 kW.

Set to bear the “MH3 600” and “MH4 600” badges, the kits will include the aforementioned power hike, a body kit and suspension tweaks.

As a reminder, the M3 and M4 Competition’s standard peak outputs are 375 kW and 650 N.m of torque. But fitted with Manhart’s HMtronik Powerbox, the twin-turbo 3,0-litre inline-six mill will make 456 kW and 750 N.m. An upgraded exhaust system with twin carbon tailpipes is also included.

A set of lowering springs from H&R and a set of 21-inch Concave One forged alloy wheels are also on the menu. Further enhancements include a bold new carbon aerodynamic kit, which includes an aggressive new bonnet, front splitter, rear spoiler, side flaps and diffuser.

Manhart says everything revealed in this catalogue is merely part of the first phase. The tuning firm says it will take things a step further with its second phase, set to be released later in 2021…
