In case you missed it, the performance bakkie from the blue oval has been teased ahead of its official reveal later this month but the new Ford Ranger Raptor Interior has now been spied in leaked images that allude to what the next-generation model will be like on the inside.
Spy photographers managed to snap a few shots of a highly camouflaged next-generation ranger recently and while most of the automotive press go bonkers over what may lie underneath patterned skin, we have also been afforded a few crude shots of the equally camouflage interior.
While it is covered in material to conceal most of the designed trim, we can still see a large centrally positioned and portrait-orientated infotainment display which is flanked by air vents finished in red.
The driver gets to grip a flat-bottomed steering wheel with the Raptor logo stamped onto the base while a red stripe is placed at the 12 o’clock position; indicative of a sporty nature and seemingly of perfect size.
Steering-wheel mounted paddle shifters are sandwiched between the navigational instrument and a digital cluster that presumably has a rev counter on the left with a speedometer on the right while we can vaguely see other operational data displayed in between akin to that of the 2022 Ranger.
The new Ford Ranger Raptor interior looks as smart as we can expect the exterior to be and only a few days away from international reveal, this sporty cabin may reflect an equally sporty powertrain. The new Raport will reportedly use an EcoBoost V6 motor which will either be borrowed from the Bronco with a displacement of 2.7-litres or the 3.0-litre from the Explorer ST.
Keep your eyes peeled on February 22 to see the uncamouflaged and all new Ford Ranger Raptor that should be as much of a hit as its predecessor was.
