The Nissan Navara X-Gear edition has been revealed exclusively for the South American market as a limited offering. The special model boasts a number of unique styling cues and a number of standard features.
Limited to just 500 units in Brazil and 250 in Argentina, the Nissan Navara X-Gear highlights the double-cab bakkie’s aggressive look and differentiated aesthetic appeal. Unique styling elements consist of a black mask in the headlamp clusters, a black body paint finish with red details and a pair of glossy black foglamp frames.
Further distinction is provided by the bonnet, rear bed cover and new side moldings on the doors. In addition, the Nissan Navara X-Gear comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, a roof rack and side running board. A bespoke front grille, external mirror frame with exclusive details and door handles with a glossy black finish rounds off the exclusive offering.
The Nissan Navara X-Gear is powered by the brand’s twin-turbodiesel 2,3-litre four-cylinder engine which delivers 140 kW and 450 N.m of torque to the 4×4 system via a seven-speed automatic transmission. Standard safety features include traction and stability control via the VDC system, ABS and EBD with brake assistance, hill-decent control and hill-start assist. A key feature of the cabin is the Zero Gravity seats that are inspired by NASA-developed technology to eliminate fatigue and improve driver comfort.
