Black, wide, powerful and exclusive. This is how Novitec describe its new Rolls Royce Wraith Overdose Black Badge, and we’d have to agree. The name ‘Overdose’ is very fitting too.
Bavarian aftermarket company Novitec is known for its crazy conversion kits for luxury cars, and they have now turned their attention to the new Rolls Royce Wraith Black Badge.
Rolls Royce has long been a symbol of status, and on the road they are hard to miss. To Novitec though, a standard Rolls is just too common. If you are bringing in boat loads of the cold hard stuff each month you don’t want to be associated with every other rapper or criminal defense lawyer, you want to stand out.
As with Novitec’s other builds, aggressive aesthetics is everything, and so to give the Rolls more menace, everything on the exterior is black. Nothings says status, or drug dealer depending on your point of view, like a blacked out car, and in this case nothing has gone untouched, including the new 22-inch Vossen wheels, of which there are two options.
To give it stance, there is a wide body kit. Employed of course to give the Wraith that much more road presence, that it never needed, just to make sure people don’t miss you coming down the road. The new extended panels are entire replacements for the standard ones, and, naturally, are carbon fibre. Aiding that stance is a new air suspension control module that allows you to lower your Black Badge by an extra 40 mm to get those massive alloys to sit properly in the arches.
To back up all that visual muscle, is extra power, just to be certain you can shake any paparazzi, anytime. Novitec has somehow managed to squeeze 527 kW, and 986 N.m from the Wraiths twin- turbocharged V12, which, if you do not overdose the rear tires with, should get the car from rest to 100 in 4,2 seconds.
As for exclusive, there will only be three of them… in the whole world. Still too common for you?
