The Posaidon E63 RS 830+ catalogue has been put together for power-hungry wagon fans. Using the Mercedes-AMG E63 S stationwagon as a base, the tuning firm has applied a number of performance enhancements to kick it up into supercar territory.
With a twin-turbocharged 4,0-litre V8 at the helm, the Posaidon E63 RS 830+ increases the standard power output of 450 kW and 850 N.m of torque to 610 kW and 1 100 N.m. This has been achieved by means of installing a pair of upgraded turbochargers, a sports air filter, downpipes with a sports catalytic converter and custom software for the engine and transmission control unit. With this applied, the Posaidon E63 RS 830+ superwagon will sprint from 0-100 km/h in 3,2 seconds and hit a limited top speed of 350 km/h.
If this bump in power is too tame for you, the tuning firm also offers a stage two kit which uses a pair of ball-bearing high performance turbochargers that kicks the output up to 647 kW and 1 200 N.m. The top of the line package pushes this even further with additional machining of the cylinder heads and valve seats together with a water and methanol injection kit. This increases the output to 691 kW and 1 280 N.m. In this state, the large wagon will sprint from 0-100 km/h in 3,0 seconds.
Although no visual changes have been made, the Posaidon E63 RS 830+ pictured here has been lowered by means of an electronics module.
If the above power outputs are a bit too drastic for you, a standalone PowerBox upgrade is available which uses the ECU unit to increase power to 520 kW and 1 000 N.m. Using this, together with an additional CPC module, the Vmax cancellation can also be applied. This package is available to all models that sport the M177 and M178 in the engine bay.
