According to Eastern Bloc news outlet Ukraine Today, the Amber is surprisingly not just a prototype; it is scheduled to commence production in 2025 at the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad. The plant, formerly associated with renowned international brands like BMW, Ford, Kia, and Hyundai, seeks new opportunities following the withdrawal of these companies from the Russian market after the Ukraine invasion in February 2022.
Details regarding the Amber’s specifications, including range, power, and charging capabilities, remain undisclosed but they are expected to be as underwhelming as its styling and proportions. Critics speculate that the peculiar design might result from the utilization of off-the-shelf parts, possibly sourced from various existing Russian vehicles.

Notably, the unconventional placement of bug-eyed headlights and two portholes on the right side has garnered attention. While there are speculations about some components possibly sourced from AliExpress, such claims lack confirmation. According to official information, the electric motors, battery, inverter, and other powertrain components are developed and assembled locally in Russia.
