As capable as it might be, Subaru’s XV isn’t exactly a thoroughbred off-roader. So, Crawford Performance has developed a lift kit to “enhance the off-roading experience” and turn it into a “desert racer”.
Dubbed the “CDR Series” package, the comprehensive suspension upgrade raises the front by 51 mm and the rear by 38 mm thanks to a pair of aluminium strut spacers on either end of the chassis. Extending the all-wheel-drive XV’s track are six long strut extensions at the front and four short items at the rear, together with spacers designed to be rugged and resistant to corrosion.
Sway bar link extensions have also been inserted to maintain the factory sway bar positioning, while the OEM ABS sensors and brake line mounts have been retained.
