Offering more practicality without compromising significantly on the recipe of a compact and affordable off-roader, Suzuki’s Jimny 5 door has finally hit showroom floors across South Africa. The stretched off-roader will be available in three flavours hovering above and below the R450 000 mark, here is how much they will cost.
- 1.5 GL AllGrip 5-door manual – R429 900
- 1.5 GLX AllGrip 5-door manual – R457 900
- 1.5 GLX AllGrip 5-door auto – R479 900
The GLX is differentiated from its more affordable GL counterpart courtesy of side and curtain airbags, climate control, leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control and electronically retractable mirrors to name a few interior features. On the outside, the GLX also offers a light sensor, LED headlights and front fog lamps as well as a camera for the park distance control system. All of this makes the GL weigh in slightly less at 1 185 kg in comparison to the manual GLX at 1 200 kg and the auto variant at 1 215 kg.
