Tata Motors South Africa has added the limited edition Indica Flash to its local range. The new model is based on the Indica LGi derivative, but receives a handful of distinguishing exterior features and a slightly heftier standard equipment list.
The Flash variant features black stripes down each flank (incorporating “Flash” lettering), as well as a Flash logo on the edge of the bonnet. The steel wheels, meanwhile, have been binned in favour of alloys.
Inside, there are leather seats (again, complete with the Flash logo) and a leather-trimmed steering wheel. An audio system featuring USB and Bluetooth has also been added.
So, how much? Well, the Indica Flash will set you back R124 995, which is some R6 000 more than the model on which is it based. Tata claims that the value of the additional features and equipment “far exceeds this” number.
Like the standard Indica, the Flash is powered by the Indian brand’s 56 kW 1,4-litre petrol engine, which drives the front wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox. The model features a three-year or 100 000 km warranty and a two-year or 45 000 km service plan as standard.
Flashy enough for you?
