Techart, well known German Porsche tuner, has turned its attention to the Panamera range, in particular the Panamera GTS and Turbo S, in both Sport Turismo and standard shell.
More power is always the first port of call, with the GTS models getting an increase of 134 kW and 150 N.m, and the Turbo S models getting an extra 67 kW and 130 N.m. That translates to 492 kW and 770 N.m in the GTS, and 530 kw and 950 N.m in the Turbo S models!
Those numbers should be enough to propel the cars from 0-100 times in 3,4 seconds and 3,0 seconds respectably. To go with all that extra punch is a Techart sports exhaust system, sporting carbon fibre tips.
Aggression is next on the list. Track width has been widened, 50 mm in the front and 80 mm at the rear, to fit the more aggressive attitude of the car created by the Techart aero kit. On the road these Panameras will be hard to miss, with the bumpers, bonnet, wheel arches and diffuser all being replaced with wider, sharper looking items. Like with all Techart’s cars there has been extensive use of carbon fibre throughout, with the bonnet being entirely exposed carbon.
Wider wheels sit within those extended arches. There are three different 22-inch options from which to pick, ranging from a five Y-spoke design, to a multi-spoke and a five V-spoke design. Those wheels are shod in wider 285/35 section fronts tires, and 335/30 rear tires.
The interior has been re-trimmed too, with the ability to lather it in whatever shade of leather is desired, from footwell to headliner, along with Alcantara. Techart will also perforate the leather in a honeycomb structure, and then underlay a contrasting colour leather, to create a “one-of-a-kind glimmering effect under different incidence of light”.
If you are concerned about the life of your car after having it tuned, fear not as Techart will service these cars when it comes time. All this will come at a cost, what that is we are not sure, but such a premium product and service is surely worth he bill.
