This latest offering from the luxury automaker embodies a contemporary aesthetic, blending dark, neutral tones with vibrant accents to make a bold statement on the road. Anders Warming, Director of Design at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, sheds light on the inspiration behind the Ghost Prism: “We are driven by the desires of our clients, who often set the tone for global trends in fashion and luxury. The Ghost Prism is an extension of the personal aesthetic of this distinguished group of tastemakers.”
Drawing from the world of contemporary design, this vehicle showcases flawless finishes in dark tones, punctuated by striking bursts of colour. Warming explains, “The contrast between solid forms and bright hues inspired the name Ghost Prism. It’s about creating a timeless yet dynamic look.”

One of the standout features of the Ghost Prism is its Gunmetal grey exterior, achieved through a meticulous 10-step painting process followed by 16 hours of hand polishing. This attention to detail ensures a finish that exudes luxury and sophistication.
In a departure from the traditional mirror-polished stainless steel, the car’s grille and rear-lid brightwork sport a high-gloss Burnout finish. Warming elaborates, “Each metal piece undergoes a painstaking process, resulting in a smoked black-grey hue that adds to the car’s understated elegance.”
Clients can personalize their Ghost Prism with four accent colours – Phoenix Red, Turchese, Mandarin and Forge Yellow, to complement the exterior. These accents adorn specific areas like bumper inserts and brake callipers, adding a touch of individuality to each car.
The interior of the Ghost Prism is equally impressive, featuring subtle pops of colour that echo the exterior accents. The Bespoke Starlight Headliner, with its 1 040 coloured ‘stars,’ creates a mesmerizing ambience within the cabin, as Warming notes, “Each star is meticulously placed by hand, adding to the bespoke feel of the interior.”
While clients have the freedom to customize the interior suite to their liking, early Ghost Prism commissions showcase light and vibrant palettes, creating a striking contrast with the commanding exterior. With only 120 examples available globally, the Ghost Prism is a rare gem in the world of luxury automobiles, marking a significant milestone in Rolls-Royce’s illustrious history. As Warming puts it, “It’s a subtle acknowledgement of our 120th anniversary, reflecting our commitment to craftsmanship and innovation.”
