Meet the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante AM37 by Q, which was put together by the British brand’s in-house personalisation firm. It’s as limited as they come: just a single one has been built.
The ultra-rare Aston was conceived to celebrate the launch of the AM37 powerboat partnership with Quintessence Yachts.
So, what makes this car different? Well, immediately noticeable is the Concours Blue exterior finish, which is complemented by a Chestnut Tan and White Essence leather interior, as well as Conker Saddle carpets and overmats (nautical theme, anyone?).
Other interesting design details include the high-gloss rosewood dashboard and badges with white enamel infill. Of course, the owner also gets a special plaque which reads “specially commissioned by Q to commemorate the AM37 yacht launch – 1 of 1”, certifying the vehicle’s authenticity.
Powering the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante AM37 by Q is the automaker’s naturally aspirated 5,9-litre V12, which is good for 423 kW and a sprint to 100 km/h in a claimed 4,1 seconds. Top speed comes in at 294 km/h. And, no, it isn’t amphibious.
The price for this “one of one” model? Aston Martin Reading in the United Kingdom is the dealer responsible for selling the car, and has it up for sale for £236 950 (about R4 005 000)…
