The Toyota Corolla Cross GR Sport has been revealed in Taiwan as a sporty option for the latest crossover from the Japanese manufacturer. Included in this package is a more dynamic appearance and a specifically tuned suspension.
From the exterior, the Toyota Corolla Cross GR Sport benefits from a new black grille surround similar to the one found on the current Hilux Legend. This is accentuated by a silver anti-scuff panel applied to the lower part of the bumper. Further design revisions include side under-guards, black door mirror covers and an array of GR Sport badges. This appearance is accentuated by a set of 18-inch alloy wheels, a sports roof rack and shark fin antenna.
The cabin of the Toyota Corolla Cross GR Sport receives just a short list of additions than include a set of sports seats with “GR” embossed into the headrests and a GR start-stop ignition button. Standard kit included within consists of a 9,0-inch touchscreen infotainment system connected to six speakers, “S-Flow smart constant” air conditioning with a set of vents for the rear bench and a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel.
Making the Toyota Corolla Cross GR Sport a sportier offering is a specifically tuned chassis. This consists of changes made to the electric power steering, front MacPherson struts and rear torsion bar suspension which is further supported by an aluminium alloy reinforced bracket.
Where power is concerned, the Toyota Corolla Cross GR Sport retains its naturally aspirated 1,8-litre four-cylinder petrol engine which can be opted for with a hybrid system. The package also provides consumers with a plethora of safety features
