Toyota has released a teaser image for its upcoming new B-segment SUV, which will make its debut at the 2020 Geneva International Motor Show in early March.
The Japanese firm says its “all-new B-SUV” blends “extensive small car experience with enviable SUV heritage”.
According to Toyota, the newcomer will combine “elevated ground clearance with an intelligent all-wheel drive system and Toyota’s latest hybrid technology”.
In January 2020, a Toyota executive in Europe hinted the company would soon launch a “practical” Yaris-based crossover below the facelifted C-HR.
Expect the new model to run on the TNGA-B platform (as employed by the latest Yaris), which Toyota has already said will offer “a great deal of modularity”, resulting in a “variety of wheelbase lengths, vehicle heights and track widths”.
