Japanese SUV and LCV specialist Flex has revealed its pet-friendly dog van conversion for the Toyota HiAce. The custom package caters to private owners who want to go far and wide with their beloved companions.
For the interior, Flex has given the Toyota HiAce an original bed kit that ensures the comfort of your canine companion. The structure can accommodate a bed mat at the top of the frame thanks to a three-layer structure. Mounting points for cages are provided as well if you need to keep your pet secure. The unit also provides space underneath the bed if you need to store essential items. The bed is divided into eight parts and can be assembled ore removed with ease.
Flex also provides a foldable cabinet just behind the front row of seats. This storage compartment can be folded flat with ease which provides free movement for dogs. This provides access to a “doggie sheet” which a specialised seat for medium-sized dogs. This piece boasts thick cushioning on the upper edge of the sides to maintain comfort for your pooch while a harness point keeps them safely strapped in. When the dog is not present, it can also act as an armrest for the driver and passenger.
For a safe entry and exit, the Toyota HiAce can be kitted out with specific cargo mats. This cushioning is deodorised and antibacterial with non-slip treatment. To ensure sufficient ventilation, Flex also offers a screen door that doubles up as an insect repellent. For improved cooling, you can opt for a FIAMMA fan that is attached to the screen via a special bracket.
Furthermore, if you want your Toyota HiAce to stand out from the crowd, Flex offers a custom front spoiler, widened fenders and original stickers. It also offers an original doggie container box that can be used to store important paraphernalia and accessories.
