The Volkswagen Polo facelift was teased earlier this week with its official reveal scheduled for tomorrow but three images of this highly anticipated small hatch have been leaked. The three images depict the front, rear and interior of the car.
Based on pictures sourced by Autospy, at the front (depicted in R-Line guise), the biggest change to the Volkswagen Polo facelift is the headlamp design which is now connected by an LED strip that runs at the bottom of the grille. A more aggressive bumper and alloy wheel design have also been applied.
The rear has been shown in base trim with a new purple body colour option and alloy wheel design. The most notable change however, is the taillamps which now stretch into the metal of the hatch. The spoiler mounted to the hatch is also a bit more streamlined. The indentation on the number plate has been left untouched but the faux-diffuser gets a slightly more angular design.
Within the cabin of the Volkswagen Polo facelift, shown here again in R-Line trim, things remain largely unchanged with the virtual display, touchscreen infotainment and buttons on the centre console remaining the same. The gear selector and climate control settings have been updated with a more modern finish. The biggest adjustment here is the steering wheel which we first saw in the 2020 Polo Sedan. The new design houses a bolder shape with chrome finished details.
