Three years after its global debut at the Frankfurt Motorshow, the Volkswagen T-Roc has been given a revision throughout the range. Changes made are cosmetic and include a number of technical revisions.
The updated Volkswagen T-Roc adopts an LED lightstrip through the centre of the grille that connects the pair of LED headlamps up front. A pair of three-step LED foglamps is added to the bumper to further enhance presence in the dark.
At the rear, the Volkswagen T-Roc shows of a slightly revised taillamp cluster with a more aggressive bumper design. The revised range also introduces a new set of colours and alloy wheels which start from 17-inch options and end at 19-inch.
Within the cabin of the updated Volkswagen T-Roc, a digital instrument cluster is fitted to all trims. At the centre of the dashboard, entry-level models will boast a 6,5- and 8,0-inch touchscreen infotainment system while the flagship model sports a 9,2-inch display. The system has also been updated with the manufacturer’s MIB3 software and sports touch-sensitive climate controls, doing away with the traditional dials.
Powertrains for all engine options of the Volkswagen T-Roc remain unchanged with the 1,0-litre three-cylinder turbopetrol mill offering 81 kW, the 1,5-litre turbo-four producing 150 kW and the 2,0-litre four-pot sending 140 kW to all four wheels.
Volkswagen South Africa is yet to confirm when the updated range will arrive in South Africa.
