The Volkswagen Arteon is set to make its first public appearance at the 2017 Geneva International Motor Show, and the Wolfsburg automaker has released fresh teaser images of the upcoming fastback.
The four-door vehicle will replace the CC and be positioned above the Passat as what VW describes as a “premium mid-sized vehicle”.
Despite the Arteon’s fastback shape, VW claims that it will boast “exceptional” levels of interior space, with “ample head- and legroom at all seats”.
The front end will feature LED headlamps and daytime running lights as well as chrome-effect trim for the radiator grille.
The new model will furthermore debut VW’s latest generation of driver assistance systems, including features “typically reserved for luxury automobiles”.
All of this, VW says, will make the Arteon “one of the most attractive products in its segment”.
