Porsche has partially revealed its new Taycan’s dashboard, which features built-in Apple Music streaming.
The German firm’s first all-electric vehicle is set to be fully revealed in September, boasting all-wheel-drive, more than 440 kW, an 800-volt architecture and a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of “around 90 kWh”.
Interestingly, it will also feature a fully integrated music streaming experience (the first of its kind, according to Porsche) thanks to a partnership with Apple Music.
From the Taycan’s touchscreen display, Apple Music subscribers will be able to stream more than 50 million songs, thousands of “curated playlists” and the Beats 1 global livestream with three-year complimentary in-car internet data, according to Porsche.
The automaker furthermore confirmed the Taycan would be offered with the Porsche Voice Assistant, an optional Burmester surround sound system and Apple CarPlay support.
