This couldn’t come at a better time, October is Transport Month in South Africa and what better way to celebrate than buying yourself a Renault Sandero or Clio with a year’s free comprehensive insurance.
Times are tough. The randela is not as strong as it once was, living costs are through the roof and buying a new car comes with a strong financial game plan. Renault gave the Kwid a strong desirability degree when it launched with the inclusive insurance for the first year. Free insurance -“ YES PLEASE!
The #GetCloser campaign from Renault is extending this offer to the Sandero and Clio models, a year’s worth of insurance for mahala. And it’s not the type that has 20 pages of T&Cs attached. It’s the good type; the full comprehensive insurance (the expensive one) and it’ll be offered on all new Sanderos and Clios.
The Sandero and Clio are two of the best value for money offerings in the Renault lineup, offering a minimum of two airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Stability Control (ESC), what we at Women On Wheels consider the minimum in safety requirements for a car.
As a refresh, the base models of each car are great value. The Sandero 66kW turbo expression retails for R184 900 and the Clio 66kW turbo Authentique is R228 900 with four airbags as standard.
A new Sandero will arrive standard with 1-year insurance, 2-year service plan and 5-year/150 000 km warranty.
A new Clio gets the same 1-year insurance deal, a upgraded 3-year service plan and the 5-year/150 000 km warranty.
