A fresh report out of India suggests the next-generation Ford Everest will hit the market in the second half of 2021, featuring a far more aggressive front-end design.
According to IndianAutosBlog.com, the new Everest (or Endeavour, as it’s badged in some markets) will benefit from a “drastic transformation” at the front. The publication claims the new Everest will gain a “significantly larger” grille, a fresh split-headlamp design, additional lower air intakes and a “more muscular” front bumper.
Indeed, the report (as well as the rendering published alongside it) suggests the new Everest will borrow a number of styling cues from the latest Explorer.
Inside, the next-gen Everest will reportedly be more upscale and refined than the current model. Previous spy shots revealed a sleeker facia, a new flat-bottomed steering wheel, an electric parking brake and a fully digital instrument cluster.
The next-gen version of the Everest is expected to again employ a body-on-frame configuration, with the latest 2,0-litre turbodiesel engines and 10-speed automatic transmission tipped to be carried over.
The Everest, of course, is built alongside the related Ranger at Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa’s factory in Struandale.
